Employee Information Text on the Protection of Personal Data
Pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), as UYAR ÇELİK ENDÜSTRİSİ SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. (“Company”) established in Turkey, acting as the Data Controller, your personal data are processed for business purposes in the ways specified below, depending on the situation.
Within the scope of our commercial relationship or employment relationship; your personal data will be recorded, stored, preserved, rearranged, and transferred to third parties under the conditions stipulated by KVKK, in connection with and limited to the purposes that require processing, accurately and up-to-date as provided to us or as declared.
Our Company takes all necessary technical and administrative measures to prevent unlawful processing or access to your personal data and to ensure their protection.
Through this text, we aim to inform you, in accordance with Article 10 of Law No. 6698, about the purposes of processing your personal data, their legal grounds, and your rights.
1. Definitions
Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Examples of personal data include name, surname, date of birth, physical, economic, social, and other characteristics.
Processing of Personal Data: Covers all types of operations performed on data, such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, altering, rearranging, transferring, taking over, classifying, or preventing their use.
Data Controller: The natural or legal person who determines the purposes of processing personal data and is responsible for managing the data recording system.
Data Processor: The person or institution that processes personal data on behalf of the data controller in line with given instructions.
2. Processed Personal Data
As an employee, your personal data that may be processed during job application, recruitment, and subsequent processes are as follows:

3. Purposes and Legal Grounds of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
Execution of employment contracts and implementation of human resources policies
Recruitment and suitability assessment
Ensuring company and customer security
Employee training and performance evaluations
Execution of financial processes
Legal compliance and adherence to legislation
Occupational health and safety processes
Internal communication, vehicle and facility management
Customer relations and improvement of service quality
When the purpose of processing your personal data ceases to exist, they will be deleted or destroyed automatically or upon your request. The processing duration cannot be less than the maximum periods stipulated by the relevant legislation.
4. Sharing of Personal Data with Third Parties
Your personal data may be shared with the following persons or institutions under the conditions stipulated in KVKK:
Public institutions and organizations (Social Security Institution, Employment Agency, Ministry of Finance, etc.)
Employer and partner companies
Audit and consultancy firms
Healthcare service providers
Lawyers and courts within the scope of legal proceedings
Affiliated or partner companies to ensure the company’s internal operations
Transfer abroad can only be carried out under the conditions specified in KVKK and with your explicit consent.
5. Your Rights Under KVKK
Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, you have the following rights:
To learn whether your personal data is being processed
To request information if it has been processed
To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
To know the domestic and international third parties to whom it is transferred
To request correction if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed
To request deletion or destruction
To request notification of the actions taken to third parties to whom the data was transferred
To object if a result arises against you due to analysis made exclusively by automated systems
You may submit your applications in writing or via KEP (registered e-mail), e-mail, secure electronic signature, or mobile signature to our Company. Your application will be finalized free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
